Semifinished submission for the Godot Wild Jam GWJ#72 🕹️ "Light and Dark" 

  • 👻 Enemies only spawn in the darkness behind you. 
  • 📈 The more enemies there are, the higher the Loot per kill and higher the damage you receive.
  • 🔋 Collectibles only drop if there is a certain amount of enemies in the world. 
  • ⬆️ Level Up unlocks at 100 Loot. Choosing any upgrade spends ALL LOOT, so you have to save before you Level Up if you want better upgrades. YEARN FOR THE SUPERGUN.

🕹️⌨️🐁 Gamepad or Mouse+Arrows/WASD/ZC. Space/Control to Fire.  Enter to Level Up. ESC to Pause.

Couldn't add enough features and polish in time before the jam deadline :(

Plan: Better gameplay, more upgrades, replace placeholder art.
